Ondo Finance Launches 24/7 Conversions Between OUSG and PayPal USD (PYUSD)

We’re thrilled to announce that instant conversions between Ondo Short-Term US Government Treasuries (OUSG) and PayPal USD (PYUSD) are now live. The collaboration enables seamless minting of OUSG with PYUSD and 24/7 instant redemptions of OUSG for PYUSD, further enhancing the redemption liquidity of OUSG and expanding the utility of PYUSD as a liquidity source for real-world assets (RWAs). The $25 million facility makes it one of the largest such facilities for stablecoins and tokenized money market funds.

This latest launch significantly advances Ondo Nexus, Ondo Finance’s technology initiative designed to unlock instant liquidity for third-party issuers of tokenized Treasuries. Leveraging OUSG’s instant minting and redemption capabilities, Ondo Nexus enhances the liquidity and utility of tokenized Treasuries while building foundational infrastructure for the broader RWA category. With Ondo Nexus, investors in tokenized Treasuries from partner issuers will be able to seamlessly redeem their assets against a variety of stablecoins, now including PYUSD, enhancing liquidity and utility across the ecosystem.
